2. How We Use Information

  • provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services;
  • respond to inquiries and communicate with you;
  • measure performance, analyze trends, and conduct research;
  • personalize content and marketing, and deliver and measure advertising;
  • prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and users; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

We may aggregate or de-identify information and use it for any purpose without restriction, except that Section 12 governs information received from Google APIs. Information we handle on behalf of a client is also governed by our agreement with that client.

3. Cookies and Analytics

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Services and to understand and improve how they are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • service providers and partners who perform functions on our behalf;
  • advertising and analytics providers for measurement and marketing (but never Google user data, which is governed by Section 12);
  • authorities or third parties when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the Services; and
  • successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Data Retention

6. Security

We take reasonable measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Services at your own risk.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain information, or to object to or restrict certain processing, and, where applicable, to request portability or to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other U.S. states may have additional rights, such as to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of the sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond as required by applicable law. You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

The Services may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and this Policy does not apply to them.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

12. Google API Services and Google Ads API Data

To the extent we access Google services (including the Google Ads API) in providing the Services, the following applies to information received from Google APIs ("Google user data") and prevails over any other provision of this Policy.

  • Data we access. Google Ads account data and keyword research metrics, accessed read-only through the Google Ads API, for the account owner.
  • How we use it. Only to provide and improve the keyword research, campaign planning, and reporting features the account owner requests.
  • How we store and protect it. Google user data is stored securely, encrypted in transit and at rest, and accessible only to authorized personnel.
  • How we share it. We do not sell Google user data. We share it only with service providers acting on our behalf, as required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of assets, and always subject to this Section.
  • No advertising or AI training. We do not use Google user data to target or serve advertisements to individuals, build audiences, or for retargeting or personalized or interest-based advertising. Using Google Ads data to plan and manage the account owner's own Google Ads campaigns is a permitted use. We do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
  • Human access. We do not allow people to read Google user data unless the account owner has consented (including access by our authorized personnel and by the client the data belongs to), it is necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
  • Retention and deletion. We keep Google user data only as long as needed for the purposes above and delete it on request or when access is revoked, unless law requires otherwise. Contact us at info@vantadesigns.com to request deletion.
  • Limited Use. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.
  • Client agreements. Where we receive Google user data on behalf of a client, it is also governed by our agreement with that client. If this Section and that agreement differ, the more protective term applies.
